The Story of YuBlueBlue

YuBlueBlue started with one simple idea: sharing the small things that make everyday life feel a little better.

The name comes from our founder, Zoe Yu. Friends have long called her "Yu" — the fish — and the sound a fish makes blowing bubbles is a little like "blue blue," which is how YuBlueBlue got its name.

What began as a one-woman shop, packed and shipped by hand order by order, has grown into a small family effort — Zoe still chooses every piece, and her husband now looks after the shop day to day.

We started this shop because we kept finding things in our own everyday life — small, well-made pieces — that we loved using, and wanted to share with others. We're still just getting started, so what you'll find here today is a small, hand-picked selection. We'll keep adding to it, thoughtfully, as we go.
